A Garden from the Heart
Winter of 2024 saw us complete this special garden for our amazing clients located in Killarney Heights. What initially started as a small stonework prospective project turned into a total reimagining of space. The garden was not inviting and it lacked flow and grace. We opened up the way finding and invited more opportunity for planting. The garden is a narrative reflecting our clients commendable personalities. Colour mirrors the bright joy of their nature. The diversity speaks to their passions of ecology and the natural world. The organic forms are a nod to love for natures design.
As the project progressed and our relationship grew the scope broadened and expanded. After allowing the garden to settle in I visited them spontaneously and was greeted with a warm welcome. I was glad to see we had inspired them to continue landscaping further into their property; a anchoring value of our happy little business.
A garden path that moves like water
As we worked on the fire pit area our client played with the idea of demolishing her existing paved area to put in a more elegant sandstone path. We ended up jumping into it and its something they will never regret. The path meanders through the landscape and bends like a river.
