Designing places to exhale

On our first site inspection, all we saw was large existing trees and a backyard of dirt and rubble. The trees were old, noble, and deeply rooted, hence we shaped our approach quite literally around the native giants.

The design elements were to honour simplicity of design, to create intrigue through shape, and to empathise with endemic and native flora to respect the surrounding land.
